This is a beautiful, incredibly sparkly vintage Art Deco-style rhinestone necklace from the 1940s–1950s. Featuring a classic graduated design, the necklace showcases larger stones at the center front that taper toward the back. The rhodium plated setting holds a mix of round and emerald-cut stones in a garland pattern. Prong set for maximum sparkle, the rhinestones are very high quality. A wonderful rivière-style piece perfect for formal occasions, it drapes elegantly along the collarbone. An excellent example of the glamorous yet refined aesthetic that dominated jewelry design in the post-WWII era, and a wonderful addition to a vintage jewelry collection.
