Although Ansel Adams is widely recognized for his extensive work featuring sites in Yosemite National Park and the High Sierras, much of his photographic output was made in other states, such as Utah, Arizona, New Mexico, Colorado, and even the New England region.
Some of Adams’ most well-loved images, including his iconic Moonrise, Hernandez, New Mexico were photographed in New Mexico, a state he returned to time and time again.
