CWU-36/P Flight Jacket Black Falcon XL Alpha Industries
This is a CWU-36/P flame-resistant flight jacket, a government-issued item from 1980 (DLA80) adopted by the U.S. Air Force.
It features:
* An Air Combat Command unit arrangement patch on the right chest.
* An American flag patch on the left shoulder.
* A 27th Expeditionary Fighter Squadron (nicknamed Black Falcon ) patch on the right shoulder.
* A Velcro base on the left chest.
The patches are attached with Velcro and can be removed.

The material is 100% polyamide (aramid) = trademark: Nomex, a flame-resistant and heat-resistant fiber.
The brass zipper is stamped with USA, is a large rectangle with a ribbon pull, and the sleeve pocket zipper has a G pull.
It has the action pleats on the back seen in the early models, and a large name written on the inside.
