US Army M-1943 Field Jacket 40s, 1944
The M43 field jacket was adopted in 1943 as a versatile field jacket for all branches of the US military during World War II.
This is a 1944 government-issued item.
- Four pockets on the chest and hem, with hidden buttoned flaps.
- Six button closure at the front.
- Chin strap on the back of the collar for standing the collar up.
- Two button adjustment on the sleeves.
- Buttons for a liner inside.
- Buttoned epaulets on the shoulders.
- Drawstring inside the waist.
