Nausicaä Prehistory
Prior to Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind, the works were drawn through trial and error: Rolf, Nausicaä the Ghoul Princess, Mole and Kushana, Sengoku Demon Castle, Yara, the Wind User's Daughter. This book contains 188 image boards, including 58 previously unpublished ones, that show the origins of Miyazaki Hayao's ideas, and bears traces of inspiration from his works of the past and present, as well as the seeds of his later works in characters, mecha, and landscapes.
