This shirt outerwear is characterized by its extremely oversized fit, based on a vintage 3XL shirt. In addition to the slightly oversized collar, it also has seam pockets on the sides, allowing it to be worn like outerwear. Thanks to a special dyeing technique, shrinkage and wear are unlikely to occur, so you can wear it without worry.
■MATERIAL
Kyoto Tsurizome is a dyeing method performed in Nishijin, Kyoto, by a dyeing workshop with over 200 years of history, which has been involved in dyeing for the Imperial Household since ancient times. The fabric is wound in a cylindrical (spiral) shape while hanging it in a circle with a gap of about 8mm between the fabrics, and slowly dyed by dipping it up and down in a bathtub to prevent the fabrics from rubbing against each other, creating stretch in the material. This silk material incorporates ATON's original dyeing technique, which is characterized by the flexibility that is created when the product moves.
