■Material
The souvenir jackets you have been using are made with improved quality compared to the fabrics of the 1950s to prevent fabric slippage and color fading due to washing. However, this Collectors Selection is made to the same specifications as the original, so the fabric is very loosely woven and delicate.
The dyeing is also done with pigment dyes, the same as in those days, instead of the currently mainstream reactive dyes. The color is not dyed evenly, and color unevenness, color fading, and fading due to sun exposure are likely to occur.
■Zipper
The fastening machines from over 50 years ago were refurbished and restarted for this jacket, and the hand-bent zippers of the time were reproduced.
Compared to current zippers, this is a zipper still under development, and the zipper tape is made of cotton, so please handle it with care.
■The Road Runner satin sukajan released this time uses the same acetate rayon as the satin side of the previous special model, velvet x satin.
Tailor Toyo has been researching acetate rayon, which was used as a substitute for silk in those days, and faithfully reproduces the original.
As a result, you can enjoy the same drape as the original.
