This gorgeous vintage pattern in flying cloud, is a soft white that has gray undertones with a rosy red ship in the center front and back . Design called 'Flying Cloud - after an American clipper ship launched in 1851 which sailed around the world. She was known for her record breaking speed and continued to sail until 1874 when she ran aground and was burned for scrap metal. There are images of the ship in a rust red on both sides with bands of red around the rim and lid.
This pot is in great vintage condition see all photos some shadow of coffee can be seen but not distracting from it's beauty I have 2 sets of cups with their saucers to compliment a morning coffee.
