This is a stunning 1920's Whiting & Davis silver tone mesh gate top purse, beggars bag or accordion purse in excellent condition.
It has lovely shiny silver mesh and a pretty etched lid, with no rust, corrosion, dents or dings.
The interior lining has no rips or repairs, and is clean and free from damage. Someone removed the original Whiting & Davis tag, but is a Whiting & Davis piece.
It measures approximately 7 inches from the lid to the bottom of the center point, and has a nice chain handle that is also in good condition, and the gate opens to about 4 inches in diameter. It has a pretty pointed bottom that makes this bag much more unique than the usual gate top bags.
A gorgeous purse that would work well for a wedding or special occasion, and a great piece to add to your purse collection.
