Rare very , Sterling Silver, brooch is signed Raffaele, with markings of coat of arms and other markings for this specific designer. 1930 or 40’s, base on clasp and other items I have found.

Markings show “a crest and crown and Raffaele and Sterling . These are the early markings from Raffaele.
This brooch is approximately 2 by 2 . The company with the Raffaele Sterling Hallmark is believed to have been either American or Canadian and operational beginning sometime in the 1930's.
You can find a number of their sterling pieces on the internet, all with similar quality, but little seems known about the company details or the artists.
