A Beautiful French Ornamented Ceramic Clock-Vase w/Metal Accent.
The clock has a form of a vase w/green base color & hand painting of floral art.
The dial is ceramic with glass windowpane that opens for winding.
The opening in the back is for hanging up the pendulum.
Country of origin: France. 53x 21 x 16 cm.
The clock was acquired by our family in Germany Bavaria and had been claimed to be from approx. 1890.
The movement was in working conditions 10 years ago. The last time I checked (4 years ago) it was in semi-working conditions. The last 3 years it was stored in the box so it is safe to assume that it is not working/fully working. It needs cleaning, tuning etc.
