So I'll tell you....it was snowing a couple nights back and I had to find my cat.I grabbed this jacket and I swear, ,if I were to have one jacket for cold harsh elements, wind, rain and snow, this is the one folks.It just does the job.By the way that hood unzips.If is very, very new.Has nylon too.
