Constructed beautifully with no nails or metal. The door opens up to reveal the cubby holes, the board pulls out to make a writing surface. It all closes up again easily (second photo shows it closed). Good used condition, light wear. Please view last photo as there is a shallow groove in the wood on the desk's side. It is not a crack that goes through to the other side. A flaw in construction or in the wood perhaps.
