【70's euro vintage / danish army】cotton satin field coat -46 / olive green- (q-256-2a)
70's Euro Vintage!!!
A Danish Army field coat has arrived.
This is a vintage item from the 1970s, a rare item released by the Danish army.
It's a rare military coat that you don't often see in Japan.
The fabric is double-layered cotton, and the cotton satin material is characterized by its smooth feel and moderate luster.
Despite this, the fabric is heavy-weight and has a sturdy texture, befitting a field coat.
As it's a cotton coat, you can wear it in a wide range of seasons except for summer.
The color is olive green.
The moderate fading gives it a vintage feel.
The size is 46.
It's a popular size equivalent to men's XL, and you can wear jackets underneath.
For reference, I am 173cm tall and weigh 70kg, and it's a good size that fits loosely.
I've uploaded photos of me wearing it, so please use them as a reference for the size.
It features a very elaborate construction, with a drawstring at the waist that allows you to cinch it to your own silhouette for a defined look. The slanted flap pockets can be tucked inside to create slash pockets, allowing for quick access. The adjustable straps on the sleeves are practical and stylish, packed with elements that make it look smart.
Military outerwear usually has epaulettes on the shoulders, but this one doesn't, making it versatile and not overly military-looking.
The buttons are engraved with a lion wearing a crown and nine heart marks, which are used in the Danish coat of arms and the emblem of the Danish army.
The color, silhouette, and details are so simple and well-made that you wouldn't think it's from half a century ago.
It has a beautiful A-line silhouette, so it can be worn casually or in traditional outfits.
