After joining One80, the development started with a review of past barrels, grips, and forms.
There are three key points in developing this model:
Rear-weighted barrel balance
A cut that feels strong but doesn't over-grip
A taper angle that suppresses gripping
These were incorporated into the design, and the model was completed after repeated prototyping.
The design also reflects Yuki Onodera's commitment, with a combination of shark and ring cuts, plus vertical cuts that resemble claws.
