Handcrafted soft sculpture G. Whillikers boy doll by Emily Wilson dated 1982, boy is 17” seated in excellent condition and hand signed on pants by the artist. The doll is weighted so it won’t tip over.
This doll is made of cloth and stuffed with fiberfill and then the stuffing is covered with nylon, resembling skin. Features are then sculpted right into the cloth. He is very very soft and the nylon is very fragile. His eyes are black beaded in the sculpted sockets.
He is very rare and original and would be an excellent addition to any doll collection, especially if you like unique dolls, then this is the doll for you.
