US Military Surplus
HGU56/p helmet, used by pilots of Cobras, Black Hawks, and more recently Ospreys, and its dedicated HGU56 helmet bag.
2009 contract.
Deadstock, unused item, privately stored.
No significant damage other than age-related deterioration.
I think the photos of the label and the condition of the hardware show how well it was stored.
However, please understand that as it is military surplus, there may be some scratches and dirt from storage.
The dedicated shoulder strap is missing, so a substitute will be provided.
The AH-64 helmet bag, which is also listed, is made of a dedicated thick fabric, but the HGU-56p seems to be made of the same fabric as the general BDU.
Two front pockets, one back pocket.
Velvet-like interior with urethane cushion.
