Up for sale is a fun and extremely rare find from the 60s. It's a vintage FIRST issue Aurora model of The Guillotine. Aurora models issued several Universal Monster models back in I believe 1962/63. This isn't a monster so I believe they named it Chamber of Horrors. These have been rereleased on and off for years by different model companies ever since. But the originals hold a certain appeal and they bring back lots of memories of being a kid and sitting in our rooms with those little glass bottles of model paint picking out just the right colors. So, yep, this is an original and it is stamped on the underside of the base. It is built and painted. There are two missing pieces that I can see. It's missing a the head and the basket. It also has 3 loose pieces which are pictured. The body on the platform is not glued down and the body is tied down with a string. The model measures about 9.5 inches tall by 9 inches long.
