Kutani ware is a style of fine porcelain pottery that originated over 350 years ago in Kutani, Ishikawa Prefecture, Japan. The first kiln was established in 1655 during the early Edo period. This is an absolutely gorgeous, vibrant vase. Slight discoloration at bottom, inside, as shown. Otherwise, excellent condition.
