Description

Masonic Offering to His Royal Highness Prince Augustus Frederick Duke of Sussex Grand Master of the Freemasons in England, published in 1838. 25 page in length. Illustrated with two plates. A rather obscure work, the Duke of Sussex assisted in forming the Grand Lodge of England after Masons split into factions with the Antients etc. Hardcover with gilt edged text block and gilt lettering on cover. Both front and back hinges cracked, but binding is secure-would recommend careful handling.
