“The Cincinnati Kid” is a 1965 drama directed by Norman Jewison starring Steve McQueen, Ann-Margret, Tuesday Weld, Edward G. Robinson (Laney “The Man” Howard), Joan Blondell (“Lady Fingers”) & Karl Malden. It tells story of Eric The Kid Stoner, a young Depression-era poker player seeking to establish his reputation as the best. He challenges The Man , an older player considered to be best, culminating in a climactic final poker game. This vintage movie publicity lot of 1965 photo stills is in good-very good condition. It has defects & wear & tear typical of 60 year old photographs — including small border defects or other defects acquired through handling, some scuffs, scratches, creases & marks in the surface emulsion. Photos state they are “printed in Great Britain” because, in the late 1950s-early 1960s, Columbia & MGM had many of their color still photos printed in Great Britain to be used in U.S. because English color printing was better than U.S. color printing at the time.
