This ring appears to be a vintage piece with a maker's mark of a U with an arrow through it. This mark is associated with the Uncas Manufacturing Company, which was in operation from 1911 to 1988 in Providence, Rhode Island.
The ring is made of sterling silver and 10k gold fill (G.F.) and features what appears to be a green stone, possibly socoto emerald.
The style and materials suggest it could be from the mid-20th century.
Ring looks as if it has been sized down, due to sterling on the inside of band reading ST |ING - | = where it looks like it was put back together, not really noticeable on the outside of the ring band.
