The King’s Jungle Room included work by iconic mid-century wood artist William Westenhaver, such as this whimsical “tiki” cat.This piece was inspired by his work for Witco and is a very special throwback to MCM tiki wood art.It is hand carved rough hewn cedar, richly and elegantly grained.This Tom is in fine vintage condition although he’s seen a couple of tussles - small chips on his right ear and toe that don’t detract from his charm. Please see photos.He stands apx 14” tall and 6” wide at his felt covered base.He needs a jungle room of his own!Perfect in your retro whiskey room or your very own tiki bar!!
