This is a Galaxie by Elgin ladies hinged cuff bracelet watch with a round yellow pearlized stone that lays over the face of the watch when worn. It also has a sapphire cabochon stem/crown. I put a new battery in it several days ago and it is keeping perfect time. It has a small crack on the face of the watch just by the 1 o'clock mark and is hardly noticeable. From the research I've done, this is categorized as a vintage watch, made before 1968.
I do not clean the preowned jewelry. I do, however, wipe it down with a sanitized cloth to remove any dust and any debris.
