It was only worn for the one wedding day and did not acquire any noticeable stains or tears. Since the wedding day the dress has been professionally cleaned and preserved in a keepsake box.An extra foot of length was added when ordered to get a longer train and the shoulder straps were altered to be slightly thinner. The ribbon at the waist was switched out for a delicate rhinestone belt.
