1953 DeSoto 2-Piece Hood Ornament
This could represent a bird or a jet plane. It measures about 15 inches wide and 12 inches front to back and consists of two parts fastened together. It is chrome. The top part is marked DG CB 21984 and 1456892; the bottom part is marked CB 21994 and 1456937.
This has some pitting and one small surface crack (see photo of beginning of left wing). It is missing some attachment bolts.
