Due to the bottleneck opening of the test tube (1 wide), this propagation station will work best for propagating plants with thinner stems/smaller nodes. When tubes inserted, they stick out about 3.5 . If you want them to stick out more to see more roots, then place the wooden stopper first then place the tube in propagation. It will give it about .5 more.
