Meissen Blue Onion Porcelain Tankard Pewter Lid Blue White Gold Floral Design
This is a vintage Meissen tankard stein made of Blue Onion pattern. The tankard has a porcelain body, painted in a blue, white, and gold floral design and a metal pewter lid. The lid is attached to the handle for easy use. On the lid is inscribed the name Schmidt. The bottom inside of the mug also has some sort of writing that can’t be made out, possibly a Meissen factory mark. The tankard stein is in excellent condition and would make a beautiful new addition to any home or collection. It stands at 8.5 inches tall, is 5.25 inches in width, and is 3.75 inches in diameter.
