This set has stood the test of time! The decanter has a uniquely Italian shape with a strong and hefty glass ball cork. The six included glasses mock the decanter’s shape with an additional rim for holding so to keep the fingers and hand from tainting the temp of the wine. The etchings are quite simple yet extremely elegant! A single rose encircled by leaves and stems perfectly decorates each glass and connects them to again to the decanter.
The set is over 50 years old and marks a classic nod to the Italian family dinners. Originally owned by a Siciliano hostess, this set was one of two I was lucky enough to be gifted.
