CORE FIGHTER is a brand started in 1997 by Noboru Tanaka, a Japanese-American designer based in Los Angeles. Soon after, the brand signed a contract with STUSSY, which led to its full-scale launch in Japan.
A reverse-import street brand, it left its mark on the Ura-Hara culture of the time.
It had a different vibe from the Ebisu and Ura-Hara scenes, and was sometimes featured in Thrasher Magazine.
A zip-up jacket made of rigid black denim.
The large collar gives it a distorted yet somewhat fashionable feel. The black and green shadow check lining is also cool!
