This listing is for an aluminum powder tin designed by Rene Lalique in 1944 for Cheramy, New York to hold their LOV-LOR face powder. The top of the box has an embossed Art Deco design of Queen Ann lace flowers standing in relief with a darker textured background. Box is marked on base LOV-LOR Face Powder, Cheramy, New York . Lalique's design for this box is illustrated in both Warman's Lalique by Mark Moran and Rene Lalique by Mathias Sorel-Beck.
Measures 1 1/2 high and 2 3/4 square.
The tin is in very good Estate condition reflecting only minor signs of normal wear.
