This is truly a remarkable hat from the era of fabulous millinery fashions. It consists of a navy cap made of crin in a circular pattern. At the sides and back there are large bows made of navy felt. There is a beautiful large navy spider veil attached. There is also an elastic band attached to the inside of the hat to keep it in place. Quite a stunning look!There is no label, indicating it was a custom-made creation.This is an authentic piece of fashion history! This hat is in wonderful vintage condition & has been lovingly preserved among over 1300 vintage hats we have collected for 40+ years. Feathers, straw, flowers & veils are fragile, given their age.
