This is a beautiful navy straw tam. A tam is a soft, voluminous round hat, usually with a round seam that joins the flat crown to the sides. Tams often have a band around the bottom that gathers in the voluminous crown and secures the hat to the head of its wearer. The straw in this tam is knitted together in a very creative circular pattern, and the bottom band is made of navy grosgrain, which ends in a bow at the back. To finish the look, there is a light blue spray of feathers on the side, coming out of the band, and the quills have multicolored tiny beads.
