This small, but powerful and graceful brown felt half-cap made of brown felt adjusts to most head sizes due to its shape.There is a half brim at the front, and a felt band ending in bows on top. You can use hatpins or hair pins tp secure it to your hair. The sophisticated look is due to the magnificent yellow feathers prays at bth sides.The wartime 40’s saw a huge variety of hats that were suitable for any face shape, hairstyle or personal preference. Throughout the war & on both sides of the Atlantic, elaborate creations brightened dreary utility fashions, brought about by rationing. The only items not rationed were hat materials. Explosions of feathers, veiling & artificial flowers were popular. There is no designer label, indicating it was a custom-made creation.This is an authentic piece of fashion history!
