This lovely hatfrom the 1960's is made of a beautiful tiny checkered royal blue and black fabric. The round crown has a small band at the bottom. This band is edged in pink grosgrain where it meets the crown. There is also a curly fabric strip edged in the same grosgrain. There is a small pink grosgrain bow at the top of the strip. A tam, short for Tam O’ Shanter, is a soft, voluminous round hat, usually with a round seam that joins the flat crown to the sides. Tams often have a band around the bottom that gathers in the voluminous crown and secures the hat to the head of its wearer.LABELS:TREBOR original. Store label: Bullocks Wilshire Sport Wear.
