This a truly magnificent brown felt hat which has an asymmetrical "brim" that projects upwards and is almost fully covered by chartreuse colored feathers glued to the felt. The top of the crown as well as the back side of the brim have no feathers, but features a narrow felt bow. There is an elastic band attached to the hat to keep it in place under the hair.Women’s 1930s hats were small and simple in decoration, yet their shaping was a work of art.
