This is such a beautiful toque from the1930's .A toque is small cap or bonnet having a narrow brim or no brim at all. Toques were popular from the 13th to the 16th century in Europe, especially France. The mode was revived in the 1930s'. This hat consists of a crown close to the head with a small brim which becomes narrower towards the back. Around the crown there is a velour band trimmed with beautiful imitation fruits that look like cherries + some fabric flowers. There is also an intact black long veil, which covers the face, or can be placed on top of the hat.
